In July 2012, the Bank was registered by the National Bank of Georgia (NBG) as a branch of Türkiye İş Bankası and started its operations in Batumi. In August 2015, the Batumi branch was transformed into JSC Isbank Georgia, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Türkiye İş Bankası A.Ş. Our bank was established with GEL 30 million in authorized capital. As of December 31, 2023, its authorized capital is GEL 69.2 million, while the share capital is GEL 134 million.
Bank’s shareholder Türkiye İş Bankası is the leading Turkish financial institution, which was incorporated in Türkiye in 1924 and serves more than 15 million digital customers not only in Türkiye but also in Europe, the UK, Bahrain, and Iraq. As of December 31, 2023, the Bank operates with 1,066 branches in Türkiye and 22 branches in foreign countries: 15 branches in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, 2 branches in the UK (London), 2 branches in Kosovo (Pristina and Prizren), 2 branches in Iraq (Erbil and Baghdad), and 1 branch in Bahrain (Manama).
